Something's changing.
Since 2009 we have tutored one way: one child, one qualified tutor, one plan. This year we are rebuilding everything around it. A new website. New systems. A new offer we think south-east Melbourne families have been waiting for.
The doors open in Term 4. Not to everyone.

It costs nothing and promises nothing, on either side. It puts you on the list we call first, before anything is announced publicly. In the message, tell us your child's year level and the one thing you would want fixed by Christmas.

Serious tutoring for
south-east Melbourne families
One student, one qualified tutor, one plan. Online, so your child gets the best-matched tutor, not the nearest one. We have tutored this way since 2009.
Standards, not promises.
Three steps to a calmer term.
Apply
Tell us about your child. Two minutes, name and number. We review every application and call either way.
Assess
The free online assessment finds exactly where the gaps are. Prefer to pick your own tutor and skip it? Fine, matching just takes longer.
Begin
Weekly sessions with the same tutor, working the plan. You see the progress notes after every session.
A person, not a platform.
Apps drill questions. Centres teach groups. Your child gets one qualified person who knows their name, their school and their gaps. Sessions run online, which means the tutor who fits your child best, not whoever lives closest. It also means no travel, no waiting rooms, and lessons that still happen when sport runs late. And because the portal does the admin and qualified teachers supervise the tutors instead of billing you teacher rates, the whole thing costs what tutoring cost in 2009.
First sounds to final exams.
English and literacy. Mathematics from first numbers to Methods. Science from curiosity to VCE. Humanities that teach reading the world and writing about it. Prep to Year 12, one child at a time.
We do not accept every application.
Places go to families who value the work, because progress needs both a good tutor and a committed home. If that is you, apply. A yes is earned.

“Alex was struggling with learning his sounds and being able to read, now he has confidence and can read at Grade 1 standard.”
“It's great that her tutor has helped her to understand topics on a practical level, giving her practice in areas she found difficult and helping her to feel better about Maths.”
“Andrew, who tutors my son in Year 8 maths, has made an amazing difference in my son's confidence and attitude towards maths.”
Straight answers.
What does it cost?
Session pricing families have not seen since 2009, published in full on the pricing page, one quick step away. One-on-one, online, free assessment included.
Is acceptance guaranteed if I apply?
No. We take a limited number of families and review every application. We call either way, even when the answer is no.
How does online tutoring actually work?
Live video, shared whiteboard, the same tutor every week. Your child needs a laptop or tablet and a quiet corner. Parents tell us their children focus better without a stranger in the house.
Who does the tutoring?
Degree-qualified tutors with Working with Children Checks do the tutoring. VIT-registered teachers supervise their work. Two layers of quality, never anonymous marketplace casuals.
